FEED SYSTEMS

HydroBlend® feed systems ensure that the product feed rates are consistent over predictable time periods. HydroBlend® products are available in various configurations allowing its application to many different processes.

HydroBlend® is used in a solid block cartridge form, exposing to the water a predetermined fixed surface area from which accurate feed rates can be predicted. HydroBlend® systems consist of Media Delivery Heads (Prefilter or Flow-Thru) that are paired with various cartridge designs based on water flow rates, line size, and other usage characteristics. Unlike standard polyphosphate treatment, HydroBlend® Systems allow various configurations to meet most treatment requirements with the goal of obtaining proper feed rates for desired treatment volumes.

SCALESTICK SYSTEMS

ScaleStick Systems are a special HydroBlend feed system developed to be used with prefilter heads


The ScaleStick® water treatment line includes a variety of cartridge configurations allowing their use in many different water treatment applications. The ScaleStick® feed system can be tailored to meet various equipment or user demands including flow rates, frequency of use, and desired treatment duration.

ScaleStick® Systems utilize drop-in style housings where the same housing is used and cartridges are exchanged periodically. These are available in Single or Twin Housings. The High Temp ScaleStick® Systems are to be used on dedicated hot water lines primarily for warewash applications. ScaleStick® Twin systems are offered with Sediment or Carbon Block Filters in housings that accept 10″, 16″ or 20″ filters.

STADARD PF-10 SS SYSTEMS

The PF-10 SS-10 is typically used in foodservice applications, primarily on ice machines where the water usage is generally higher than on most other beverage equipment.

HIGH TEMP SCALESTICK SYSTEMS

The SC-605 is the primarily used in residential applications. A single cartridge will last roughly 12 months in an average residence.

SCALESTICK CARTRIDGES

ScaleStick cartridges fit standard 10″ filter housings allowing them to be used with any number of standard housings that accept 10" filter cartridges in new or existing applications.

SS-10 SS-XL SS-EXT SS-MAX

SS-10

The  SS-10 ScaleStick is a stand alone cartridge that fits standard 10” water filter housings. It is typically used in foodservice applications, primarily on ice machines where the water usage is generally higher than on most other beverage equipment.

Preferred Flow Rate Range: 1-2 gpm.
 Applications: Ice Machines, High Volume Coffee/Tea, Boiler Based Steamers & Combination Ovens, Proofers, Deck/Rack Ovens, RO Pretreatment, Misting Systems, Swamp Coolers

SS-XL

The SS-XL ScaleStick is a stand alone cartridge that fits standard 10” water filter housings. It is typically used in foodservice and tankless water heaters applications.

Preferred Flow Rate Range: 1-3 gpm.
 Applications: Large Ice Machines, Multiple Coffee/Tea Equipment, Warewash Equipment, Small Tankless Heaters, RO Pretreatment, Misting Systems

SS-EXT

The  SS-EXT ScaleStick is designed for some foodservice, residential, and light commercial applications.  Its larger diameter makes it suitable for medium size warewash applications and some POE installations in small establishments. Residential applications include whole house water treatment.

Preferred Flow Rate Range: 2-4 gpm.
 Applications: Warewash, Whole Home or Small Restaurant, RO Pretreatment, Tankless Water Heaters

SS-MAX

The SS-MAX ScaleStick is a longer version of the SS-EXT that was designed for the same foodservice and light commercial applications.  Its sizer makes it suitable for higher demand ware wash applications and some POE installations. It's feed rate is similar to that for the SS-EXT, however, the length of the cartridge allows for longer treatment periods in between cartridge replacements. 

Preferred Flow Rate Range: 2-6 gpm.
 Applications:  Flight Type or High Usage Warewash, POE Applications,  RO Pretreatment, Tankless Water Heaters

SC-605

The SC-605 is the primarily used in residential applications. A single cartridge will last roughly 12 months in an average residence.

SC-610

The SC-610 is ideal for small commercial and food service applications. It is primarily used in applications where the water flow rate averages 4-7 gpm. Not recommended for residential use since higher flow rates are required in order to use the entire cartridge.
